Amateur Poetry, Music, Reflections
I'm grateful for the 20 years that the Holy Family Shrine has served our community and the traveling public, placing the Eucharistic Glory of the Risen Christ right off the side of a highway is a graced affair indeed. I'm certain beyond a doubt that Christ has called many to Himself in a deeper way through their blessed and beautiful ministry. I am so excited to celebrate this beautiful anniversary, I pray the Holy Family Shrine is blessed with many more generations of praise, adoration and worship, and am extremely grateful for the opportunity I've been given to participate in that celebration in a small way.

Favorite/Patron Saint
You’ll have to forgive my vernacular, but when the saints are good buddies, I don’t think they begrudge at all a little nicknaming - so, to answer the question - Little Joey Cupertino (Saint Joseph Cupertino) comes to mind, as his blessed and most beautiful heart couldn’t help but propel his whole person to God’s Glorious Eucharistic Presence, and we in our pride and weakness of faith find it hard to believe God would do such things - how silly of us. Also Lizzy Leseur (Servant of God Elizabeth Leseur) because she knew, really knew, how to love as God loves.
Favorite Quote
“To think is excellent.
To pray is better.
To love is everything.”
- Servant of God Elizabeth Leseur
Fun Fact
Thanks to the dogged and committed fatherhood of my stepfather Stephen, I hiked every 4,000-foot-or-taller mountain in the great State of New Hampshire (my birthplace and childhood home) by my 13th birthday, and every such mountain in New England by my 15th birthday. There are 48 and 65, respectively, and my younger (yes, younger) brother finished them with me too.
