Artist Bio
Jacob first had the idea to reform bullet shell metal into art back in 2010 when helping his cousin with a craft project. He sold his bullet shell art/jewelry and was even featured on the TV show Country Reporter in 2012. Today, Jacob is a parishioner at Christ the King with his wife Katherine and two children, Mark (4) and Anastasia (1). In addition to his metal working, he also enjoys blacksmithing, wood working and writing science fiction novels. |
Favorite/Patron Saint
St. Justin the Martyr. A philosopher whose writings helped bring me into the Church. Favorite Quote “But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, "Do it again" to the sun.; and every evening, "Do it again" to the moon. It may not be automatic monotony that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never gotten tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.” G.K Chesterton, -Orthodoxy Fun Fact I love outdoor activities such as camping, canoeing, hiking, biking and snowboarding.
